Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely famous. When she was a kid Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by a lot of Americans. If she attended an event at school and was given great praise for her performance at the age of 9, the girl began to feel more confident. It not only boosted her self-confidence but also changed her goals for the future. At the age of 22, she graduated from New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut in the film You've got Mail were both her big break. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot, she played the role of Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC the show, she received more recognition. Apart from having a cult following as a singer, she released a solo and a longer piece. She is an activist who strives in the cause of LGBT equality.
